"What is the use of working
when one is getting nothing accomplished?
A woman must be fit
and in condition to be a good mother,
else she is but beating the wind or the children.
Nobody can be a useful mother without having
some sort of fun every day,---something to relax
the strained nerves, and to make
the sun shine in the soul.
For all the domestic discipline comes back at last
to the personality of the mother.
Most children will be good
if they have a good mother."
