Let Them Eat Cake

It's Sunday morning
and I have been up for a while,
just me and Baby J in the downstairs
while everyone else was sleeping.

That child is getting to be so cute--dangerously cute.
I could just play with him and kiss him all the time.

I've got the roast and carrots in the crock pot.
I just got the chocolate covered cherry cake out of
the oven. Since I cooked most of my potatoes yesterday,
we aren't having holiday potatoes (sniff, sniff).
There's a bunch of left over mashed potatoes and while
that's not exactly something I love to eat
(left over mashed potatoes= no thank you),
I'm not in a position to let them go to waste.
So we'll eat them.

I have got Mr. Cuteness (Baby J) bathed and dressed
for church and he's asleep again. Now I've got to
hop in the shower so I can have time to make the icing
for that cake before church.
So after church, I'll have my cake and eat it too!

And it's a beautiful day!
