Quick words

Took Baby J back to the dr. today. Remember last Monday he was under his birth weight? Well, he was back to 7 lbs 3 oz today. That's a 10 ounce gain in a week. Doc said the "norm" is one half to one ounce a day. So he's doing good. That's always good to hear.

Don't know what I did today---it wasn't sit ups or lifting weights or anything---but tonight I am in "discomfort" to say the least. I'm really not trying to do things that I shouldn't. But I honestly don't know what I could have done today to have prompted this. And if we have another "every two hours" night tonight.....well....let's all just pray that this child picks tonight to sleep really well. Mama needs the rest.

So many home schoolers starting back to the daily grind
today. Not us. Smiley face. So glad I planned
ahead for once in my life.
And so thankful
for God giving me a clear
straight path to follow right now.

What's that verse...I think it's in Isaiah....about the Lord, the Shepherd,
tenderly leading those who are with young.
So very thankful for that.
And what's that song my Jr. High friend and her father
used to always sing: "Ain't God Good?"
